Interesting, thanks. I wasn't aware of that. Is that just for the halogen headlights, or all external lights around the car?

I had this recently happen to me. Took it to an A/C specialist and it turns out the condensor was scrap. Easy fix (albeit pricey).

I had it welded last year by a garage, but the sound has come back. I live in a flat without a garage so I don't have the facilities myself. I intend to put it back into an exhaust specialist soon.

These Chinese units get bad reviews, as they apparently go faulty very quickly which seems like such a shame because they provide a great universal solution. I'd love to see somebody try this unit and review it. Maybe they're improving over time.
