Anyone had any experience of the abs wheel sensors they sell on eBay? Noticed they only 50 quid, whereas cheapest I've seen them new was on euro car parts for 140.

I know, highly unlikely, but I just changed a Michelin Primacy that I was told had likely been on the car from when it was built. The car has now done 70k miles - tyre still had 0.5mm of legal tread on it, but looked rather old/cracked etc. What's the maximum anyone else has seen on a tyre?
