PTG Check - Electric Tourer Boot Failed - Please Help!

Hi, Quick update, changed the ECU and it failed! Checked wiring and all seems ok so took to an auto electrician. The fault is the tailgate lock each time it fails apparently. I've got another one of those now for £130, so when I stump up £90 to fit it we'll see if I'm £380 worse off still with...

PTG Check - Electric Tourer Boot Failed - Please Help!

The problem is when it stops working the lock / handle does too, so to have a manual boot you have to crawl through the boot space each time!! Mine is still playing up, works for 2 mins then doesn't. I'm waiting to speak to someone from Honda soon and I'll update you all! Bloody car ;-)

PTG Check - Electric Tourer Boot Failed - Please Help!

Very sad to report the boot has stopped working again! Goes up about 1/4 of the way then beeps and shuts again, but doesn't lock and the lock stays stuck open. A battery disconnect later and lock shuts but boot still doesn't function. Could the car being parked on a slope be anything to do with...

    Purchase help

No I didn't, and it looks like I was wrongly put off! I'm happy with my 2006 2.2 diesel though in the end, road tax just cost £165 for the year which is good.

Hi, Just a quick update on this. I received the part from a very helpful and friendly eBay seller, Chris, and finally fitted it yesterday. The boot worked straight away although stopped after about 10 go's and I had to disconnect the battery. This kicked it back into life, and it kept working...

PTG Check - Electric Tourer Boot Failed - Please Help!

Ok, I disconnected the battery this morning and the boot worked when reconnected. It then went on to stop working next time. The disconnecting and reconnecting didn't work again. I've bought a new tailgate ECU from eBay for £92 which is brand new (£400 from Honda!), so I'll fit that when it...

Clutch and boot floor lid questions!

Thanks, I'll have a prise at the weekend! Oh and part of getting rid of the NSX was because I had a beautiful baby girl, so quite honestly I couldn't care less about it going. Had 4 years and 54,000 miles of amazing fun in my 3.2 NSX, best car in the world, but still just a car. As long as...

Clutch and boot floor lid questions!

Hi, We have just bought a 2.2 Tourer, Sport and I have a couple of quick questions I'm hoping you guys can advise on. Firstly the clutch pedal feels sort of clicky at the bottom, like if it was a cable there was something restricting it. The clutch itself isn't slipping and is smooth at the...
