    Hi all, to continue with this repair, I got it finished today. Images below show the glue I used EvoStick White Turbo is the one I used, sets in 15 mins and fully cures in 24hrs. I used some rolled up bubble wrap to keep the gorilla tape away from the wind deflectors and paintwork. I'll know...

    I knew I would find a thread about this on TA! Cleaned and polished the car today and the reg caught in the top of trim on the nearside and popped it off, the trim had been sitting proud for months and seemed to be just about held on. I getting that Evo glue this evening and will glue it back...

    I investigated the area behind the heater controls and the little pulley looks intact. I also checked at the bulkhead for that water valve and it is moving to the Hi and Lo position

    I know this is an old thread, but im gonna try this tomorrow. I have noticed over the last two weeks that there is very little heat coming through the vents on HI setting.

    I also did my front doors of my tourer, i used self adhesive closed cell foam panels and it took the empty sound out of the doors when being closed. I have been meaning to do other areas of the car but just cant get the time being a one car family!

Fire resistant expanding foam sprayed intermittently to allow for proper expansion Heat and water resistant self adhesive closed cell foam for between the webs Heat resistant paint to rejuvenate the mat And some new plastic fasteners...

    Rear Suspension Saloon v Tourer

    I think I need to replace the rear suspension on the tourer, actually I do. I have read on a few threads here on TA that the rear shocks/struts/springs are the same for both the saloon and tourer, is that actually the case? and does anyone have a DIY on changing them?

    Just jumping into this thread, great DIY tutorial, i will be trying this for sure. On fuel consumption,im dissapointed in the high consumption v the I-cdti, i too am averaging about 37mpg to 44mpg over motorway and urban driving

    Thanks for the offer bounder, i have pretty much all the tools and greases needed. I have done a few calipers now and i would indeed opt for a rebuild and have them done to eliminate future woes.
