Do any other Auto owners find the shift pattern highly annoying? During normal driving it shifts up so early that pulling out from a randabout puts you in third when you turn in, when you then go to accelerate it violently downshifts to the get the power.
The dynamic element is also not that dynamic as it has three settings, Grandad (Shift at 2500rpm), Good Progress (Shift at 5000), or shift at red line.
Also crusing on the mototrway in top, when I go to overtake it downshifts again even though I could cruise past in 5th. Surely it would be better to have a kick down feature to drop gears if the driver wanted?
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a software update an change the shift pattern?
