2.2 iDTEC Engine Cover

Simple question - how do you get it off?

Any hidden screws? Seems as though it's clipped on and you just pull it off but reasonable force hasn't worked.

Looks as though there's a cover recessed in the rear edge but can't seem to see a way of prising it up.

Workshop manual (on DVD) just says "Remove the engine cover" but no further information.

Help! I don't want to break it.

It is held only by clips. Firm pull and it should come off. Not a rocket science good luck

Thanks. Seems as though I'll just need to yank it a bit harder.

Many actions in the online manual have hyperlinks ***ociated (highlighted in blue) but wherever this one appears there's never a link.

Bloody hell! Left side came off OK but did my back in yanking on the right side. Tough little bugger.
