20mpg is what one should expect in town driving on the 2.4 Auto. So if it works out to about that figure in town it's normal I'd say.

I don't think the 2.4 is built for economy. If you look at other Tourer/Estates of the same era and engines with similar hp outputs the mpg figures are worse than the Accord, on paper.
