Hi there, new to this forum and hoping you can help. I have a 2004 2.4 Type S tourer with 52K miles owned from new. I have noticed over the last few weeks a whistling noise which sounds to be from the rear of the car. More noticeable when stationary and difficult to hear, or maybe not there when moving. Noise is not present at all times but seems to be more noticeable recently. Car is in for a service and MOT at dealer soon. I was wondering about the fuel pump?? Any ideas?
