2002 Honda Accord self learning ECU ?

Hi all. Have I got this right ? I tried to run a search on it but my choice of keywords might not have been up to the task. I read somewhere that these cars have an "adaptive" ECU, disconect the battery for anything from a minute to a day and the ECU will reset. Learning a new from the road and not memory. Does this apply to the Sport ?

Yep all models have self learning ECU.
