Hi, can anyone help with this one......
I need to get a cheap set of rear discs and pads for my 2003 Accord Estate 2.4 Vtec, I have been looking on ebay and the only sets I can seem to find are for the 2.4 not the 2.4 Vtec......will these fit and work ok with my car? I have phoned a few car parts places and have been asked what type of braking system I have.....I have no idea??
Can anyone send me a link or suggest a place where I can get a good priced set, let me know if you need my reg number and I will message anyone back.

Many thanks

I think 2.4 means petrol 2.4 vtec and should be fine. I'll put it down to laziness on the listing the part on ebay. The only other option wouyld be 2.2 (diesel) or 2.0 petrol

Have a look on eurocarparts using your reg number.

AFAIK they're all the same regardless of engine, the difference depends on whether your car is saloon or Tourer

Note also that non-OEM pads will cause problems as they almost always are slightly too big for the calipers. There's a good thread about this issue somewhere.

Hi john, the thread that freddo is talking about was mine, and trust me DONT buy the pads from euro parts, they are wrong. Get the pads from honda £50. The quality is supperb and they fit. The discs I did get from euro parts and are fine. Hope that helps.
