Couple of years ago my abs light started coming on intermittently. When it failed it's mot I replaced the rear o/s abs sensor - it had to be drilled out due to corrosion on the hub. Honda wanted over £300 for the part but Eurocarparts only wanted £160 so I thought I saved a bit. All was good for about 6 months. The abs light has come on again. Intermittently at first, as before, and now constant. It turns out to be the same wheel. This time I note you can get the same sensor on ebay for about £10 (bit disconcerting that on ebay all the 2003 - 2007 parts are listed as 8th generation instead of 7th, so I'm hoping that does not matter.. Easy choice to buy. Iv'e removed the old one while I wait for delivery. But I tried to check the loom with a multimeter. Unable. The abs accumulator/pump plug seems to have a different layout to the w/s manual. The centre row of contacts on the plug are offset. I tried to get a reading using an educated guess but no luck. Can anyone enlighten me
Meanwhile I'm fairly sure it's the sensor again. It gives a low reading on the ohmeter, and I will have to compare it with the replacement to be sure. I guess the replacement has failed unless anyone could suggest a reason why the same one went again
