2005 i-cdti alternator charging problem

Hey guys,

Here is my issue:

The car won't charge the battery when it is idle and without any electricity consuming devices switched on. When I turn on the lights or the A/C it starts charging.
Also when I rev the car up, it starts charging, but sometimes it stops and then starts again without any logic.
I changed the alternator itself and the alternator bearing and its still the same.

Any ideas.

DID YOU CHANGE THE BATTERY?

I would check all leads including ground first for bad connection. Could be as simple as that
