Hi everyone
Recently had P2647 (“A” Rocker Arm Actuator System stuck on/VTEC oil pressure switch high voltage). This causes the MIL and VSA light to come on, and limits the engine speed to around 3000 rpm at which point the car will start bucking and the needle bounces off 3k.
I also have P0705 with the transmission position/gear indicator on the dash flashing the D gear while in park sometimes although this doesn’t seem to happen very often and stops when I restart the engine.
I also have P0325, I did previously replace the knock sensor but this seems to be showing up on the code scanner.
I’ve been able to clear the codes but the P2647 comes straight back on.
I have no records for the car and don’t know how often it’s been serviced. I bought it back in September and didn’t get around to servicing it yet, the oil level is satisfactory but it is quite dirty.
I know it’s due a service and think this may help, I’ve also seen people cleaning the screen on the solenoid with break cleaner. I’ve also seen people replacing the VTEC oil pressure switch.
I’m just wondering what everyone would try first, and if anyone’s got any ideas, due to the three different codes particularly the neutral position switch code I’m wondering if this may actually be an electrical problem?
Many thanks in advance
