2008 ICTDi GT sport, does it play dvds?

Hey lads and ladies,

Mate just bought a 2008 accord, as the ***le states. It has the full navi, 6cd changer and a dvd drive, but does it play dvds? We couldn't get it to work.

Also, anyone know if it has a built in bluetooth modules and if so, how to pair it?

No it doesn't play DVD through that drive. You need to get an interface and external DVD player to get it to play through the screen.

Does it have hft? Hands free technology symbol on the steering wheel stalk?

Check xcarlink out mate. Search the site and you'll find it.
Not sure how the sound works though, something to maybe ask them and confirm.

The xcar link things say they don't work with the 6cd changers! Theoretically though, could you watch movies stored on your ipod or a usb, via the xcar link?!

For DVD it won't go through the 6way cd drive it will go through the DVD.
This is a separate unit below the sat nav under a plastic flap.

Oh yeah I know, sorry Brett, probably wasn't very clear, we tried the dvd drive, wouldn't play anything. Separately all the xcar link units say they aren't compatible with headunits that have the 6 cd changer, as his does. But if by chance the xcar link was compatible, could you view videos stored on an ipod/memory stick? Or is their no means of playing a video this way?
