Hi All,

Here I go with starting my questions lol, I was wondering if anyone knows if 350z alloys would fit on a CL9 accord without too much trouble? from looking the PDC seems to be the same but bore and offset are different, I'm not that clued up on wheels so thought it was worth asking on here:

350z seems to be Centre bore 66.1 and offset is 30 and accord is 64.1 and offset is 55

Here's to hoping for some wheel experts, I really like the look of them but if they'll be a huge pain to fit I'd just leave it.

Thanks in advance

They're really gonna poke out a lot with such a low offset if you're talking about the 8.5" rims.

Even with the smaller 7" rims, although they'd fit in, it'll drive terribly on uneven roads due to the offset being so far wrong.

RX8 wheels are a great, cheap alternative.
They fit well and look good.

You'll need spigot rings to close the bore but as Matt says they will seriously stick out

An 8.5x18 et27 (which is the wider Ray's wheel spec from the GT) would have similar fitment to when I fitted my rear wheels to the front of my car.

Ah..thanks all for the replies, sounds like it's not worth doing then, as much as I like the look of sticky out wheels I wouldn't like the hassle or handling, I did see the RX8 allows and from what I've seen can look very nice so are a bit possibility.

Those Rays look awesome on the accord Goodluckmonkey

its all down to offset i run 18x8 rears with a 225 tire and 18x9 on front with a 255 tire no rubbing or anything

Cheers. They're just cheap BBS LM copies.
I meant the Ray's wheels as fitted to the 350Z's with the 4-pot brakes.

As Toph says, you can fit a 9" with the right offset.
My 8.5" et42's still hang out the front a fair bit though, so his wheels would need to be something along the lines of an ET55 to go under a stock arch with a 9" rim and a 255 tyre.
You do need to be careful of hitting the front strut though. So too much offset can on a wide rim can be an issue too.

You really want no more than an 8" rim and no more than at 40mm offset for a tidy looking round car with a sensible fitment.

This is an 8.5x19 ET42 front with a stretched 225/35 tyre

agreed 8j et35/40 is good

only reason i have the 9j and that tire is because it cam up at good price and they fitted.

woulkd i buy another set like that prob not next set will be down to 17s prob 8j et35ish with a good 225 tire

I only went for such ridiculous sizes because they were cheap too.

If much rather have a proper Motorsport wheel in an 8x18 et45 or similar for a tidy OE look and common sized 225/40 tyres.

Finding a 35-profile 19" tyre when you have a puncture isn't fun at all.

I don't like the slop of a 45 on a 17" (with most tyres - it's quite a generalisation)

40's on an 18 is best IMO, but on an accord the steering's not precise enough to tell the difference, so you may as well have the ride quality as the stock dampers leave a lot to be desired.

On my Subaru, it was like 2 completely different cars on 17"s and 18"s, but that had a really good steering rack, and Bilstein B8's.

Cheers for all of the advice chaps, will see what comes around when I finally get around to getting my accord then, think what wheels come with it will determine how quickly I want to upgrade as Penta's are quite nice and could live with those for a bit.
