4th gear is rubbish

so my car out a blast last night as i had a very short amount of time to make a drop off for a bus lol
my car is an auto exec and 1st 2nd and 3rd gear are very good 3rd gear taking me to 110leptons!
but in 4th gear at about 4 or 5 k the car just loses all care in the world and is very sluggish... theres no vtec or nothing
any ideas?
it has a cat back straighttrough and a bmc ram air installed with resonater still intact

John has it always been like this or has these symptoms just started.Also what air filter system do you have.

you need to get to 6k for the vtec to kick in. Thats why 4th gear is a dangerous gear to vtec in due to the silly speeds you're travelling at. Since i got my exhaust on, its now my most favourite gear! Used to be third, but no anymore :lol: B)

it doesnt really manage to get to 6k in 4th oz just dies off lol.
its got bmc cda ram air connected to the box inside the wing
