7th Generation Arm Rest Creak Noise

Hi All

Just a quick one.
Noticed this now when using the extended part of the centre arm rest. Every time I lean on it, it tends to make a creak sound.
I ***ume its the plastic rail of the armrest extension section

It this a known issue?
I ***ume its just a matter of dissembling the top part of the armrest and perhaps applying some sort of grease to the rails?

Be interested to know how you get on as mine does the same. Although I think at some point mine has been over tightened as it's a struggle to lift it lol

I don't get a creak but then I don't have mine extended, what I do get is an annoying rattle which wifey tells me is coming from the compartment - it seems to stop rattling when I have it lifted open although the rattle is intermittent so it's hard to say.
