8th gen engine capacities

Guys some useful info hear as this is always asked about.

Engine oil capacities.

Including oil filter

2L PETROL 3.7L
2.4L PETROL 4.2L
2.2 DIESEL 5.5L These capacities are for oil change excluding the oil remaining in the engine.

Without oil filter

2L PETROL 3.5L
2.4 PETROL 4.0L
2.2 DIESEL 5.2L

Manual transmission fluid to change

2L AND 2.4L PETROL 1.9L
2.2 DIESEL 2.2L

Manual transmission fluid total

2L AND 2.4 PETROL 2.0L
2.2 DIESEL 2.5L
Auto transmission fluid change

2L AND 2.4 PETROL 2.5L
2.2 DIESEL 2.6L

Auto transmission fluid total
2L AND 2.4 PETROL 6.5L
2.2 DIESEL 8.2L

i-DTEC owners are instructed to ONLY use low SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous and Sulphur) fully synthetic 0w-30 Engine oil that meet ACEA C2/C3 specification.

please verify, for the 2.2 diesel, what is this? I have been told 2.6 liters as you post in this list.

what is the service cost? are you happy with the car?

In the book that comes with the car is does say you can use 5w40. Would that be the wrong oil then.
