Afternoon folks

After my initial DPF woes (which was eventually replaced under warranty) I'm 14 months into the ownership of my 09 tourer and now have the above issue.

It's not the remote - I've tried both.

Basically it fails to lock and unlock with ever increasing regularity.

Usually the biggest problem is on the driver's side and I have to resort to using the key. But even then the passenger door doesn't always unlock which is a pain with me having young kids.

I wondered if his was a known issue?

I might have to reluctantly take it into the dealer. I could live with it if if the key worked every time but it doesn't.

Thanks

As an update to this even when I use the key the driver side rear passenger door doesn't unlock. I have to manually press the button on the handle from the inside.

I'm thinking this could be the issue. Also the boot doesn't open until I press the same passenger button.

Perhaps the two are linked?

Thanks
Steve

Yes if one of the door lock actuators is failing to lock or unlock then it will prevent the central locking from arming or disarming the whole circuit.

Hi.

I think that I have read somewhere that the passenger switch has been responsible for lots of looking issues!
