Hi folks, my clutch pedal squeaks and creaks and also sticks down on occasions, from what I have read on Internet it seems to be a master cylinder problem any one know how to access it?
Thanks, Ian.

Guys if there is a hole to get some moly down its worth a go like on the 7th gen.
You can also use silicon Grease spray as it's easier to get into the hole.
Holfords sell this for about £3

Managed to spray plunger with halfords spray grease and so far the squeak and stick has disappeared here's hoping.
Thanks for the replys, Ian

What is the grease called
Let us know how long it lasts.

Fingers crossed all is OK

I used the Halfords stuff for half the price about 8 weeks ago and it has been silent since

I can't see any that halfords grease that is suitable for o rings & rubber seals if its lithim grease it WILL deteriorate your outer seal & you will start to see traces of brake fluid leaking down into the footwell area. Any grease even WD40 will stop the squeak but all will damage the seal.

Has the saying goes you get what you pay for that's why synthetic grease is required & only sutable for o'rings rubbers etc.

Note!!! others looking at this the Castrol grease is now £8.99 on e bay so not worth the risk as a new master cylnder is around £170.00 & the Osboure tip.

search for threebond premium silicon grease (demon tweaks) use this stuff myself, it's what Honda use. Can use on your brakes etc

I had a squeaking clutch pedal for two years tried greasing linkages to no avail. until I found this tread.
I got WD 40 silicone lubricant from Halfords http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/engine-oils-fluids/lubricating-penetrating-oil/wd-40-specialist-high-performance-silicone-lubricant-250ml . It works great and the extension nozzle stay on as I am always loosing those things.

Method:

Lay on your back under the dash.
Depress the clutch with one hand.
Stick the nozzle in hole of the master cylinder when the clutch is depressed.
Move your head out of the way and close your eyes and mouth as you don't want spray getting into it like i did.
Give it a good long 3-4 second spray.
All done noise free.
