Been giddy spending pots on money on Sputnik since its its general poor running has been remedied.
I've just blown nearly £300 on getting a new A/C condensor fitted an the system regassed. But disappointingly I got it back tonight and its not working :-(
Its going back in tomorrow as what I think has happened as the garage of fitted the condensor , refilled/repressurised and ***umed all was okay. But in fact the compressor isn't kicking in and the fans aren't coming on.
I've had a look at the relays and they there are a range of them located in two fuseboxes on the N/S inner wing behind the battery.
The larger fusebox has three A/C related relays:-
>one at the front : Denso 156700-2680 ID'd with icicle & fan symbols
>one at the back : Denso 156700-2680 ID'd with icicle symbol
>one at the back : OMRON G8HN-H70 2714D ID'd with fan symbol
The small fusebox has two A/C related relays :-
>rear left : Mitsuba RC-51-2 12V 1T ID'd with icicle symbol
>rear right : Denso 156700-2680 ID'd with fan symbol
Now I can understand that tripping the fans would need a relay and tripping the A/C compressor clutch would need one. But that makes TWO.
Why FIVE?
Can anyone explain as £300 quid and NO A/C is not a good investment :-(
