Whilst trolling through ebay and getting a shopping list of whats going to cost what i found this now ive had one of these systems very similar when i had my corolla 2zz the reducer to the tb isnt the best quality in the world but survived 2 years of go on my car all i did was replace the 3quid air filter with a quality jetex one and it sounded immense the aluminum piping resonated really lots of induction noise well and good power gains too.

When ive got my accord unless anyone else is going to be a guinea pig before me i dont think £70 + (import ****) isnt to bad what do you peeps think ?

you can hear the intake in car it overpowering the fartbox :D

I wouldn't trust the air filter one bit. I'd be more comfortable with a K&N. But an aluminium pipe is an aluminium pipe! Worth it just for that really as it's measured and bent to shape already. Buy it, stick a K&N on and job done.

Yeah filtration quality would be rather poor with that i will see what the biggest unit i can fit in there. Absolutely the ali pipe is what we want.

I've got an Injen CAI which I paid a pretty penny for. The engineering and build quality is faultless IMO. I would stick with genuine branded products and not go on the cheap tbh.

Oh im not arguing about the build quality should be alot better on the branded stuff but if there is a product that just need a quality filter and that comes in at probably over half the price maybe ill have to buy both and get a dyno comparison.

whilst ive been looking at the various intakes for the accord

Question for you here people on this. Do you think the K&N kit won purely on the basis that the pipe work is all 2.75" or 70mm as opposed to the injen which 3.5" from the filter then where it connects to the short ram part 3" then taper back down to 2.75" would that cause disruption to the flow ?
