I have just bought an accord with an abs light on the dash. I am hoping to get it sorted for the mot in just under 2 months. I have read that it can be due to a wheel bearing fitted the wrong way round or could be just a faulty sensor or crud in the housing from a previous sensor replacement. I have a el cheapo OBD2 scanner and it does not show the abs light as an error code. I was hoping it would tell me its faulty and more importantly which sensor. Do I have to inspect each sensor one by one or is there an easier method? Whats the most likely cause of the problem?

Thanks very much

Interesting link cheers jonG. I have a 1989 CRX with an ECU that has a built in LED, I just count the flashes and look up the code on the web. It would be nice if they made modern cars that simple :)
