Accord braking system SDC or SEA?

Just looking at mintex front pads for my accord and the guy selling them has asked if my braking system is SDC or SEA.

Does anyone here know? I don't even know what they mean!

I can only imagine it refers to the Honda part number?

The part number of the brake pads, calipers or something else? I might just buy some from Honba instead.

FWIW - Nissin do the break systems on the Accord and most others.

SEA is normally to do with the Honda OEM part number.

Well I spoke to honda to get a price on genuine pads and they said it's sea.

Is it worth paying £39 for genuine honda pads or are there some better alternatives?

TBH the OEM set are pretty good - for £39, I'd just take them.
