Ok it was not the fault of Honda super reliability but a faulty ball joint on the rear upper control arm. Yes they are SPC, I had read that there had been a few failures, but they have only been on the car for about 1.5 years

Time to put the old control arm on to get it through the MOT and then source another arm or maybe some ingalls.

I will be checking the boot on the arms to see if they have split!

Anyone got any they want to sell?

Been out had a look at it this afternoon, checked boot and all in tack, well overall they still look like new. I had new tyres about a month ago and each wheel was checked for play prior to full alignment and they were fine. I am now thinking if the guy that did the alignment did not use two spanners to loosen the camber arms and used one this would have put alot of pressure on the ball joint. Well this is what I am thinking now
