hey peeps, i'm about to buy a 2003 1.8 vtec accord next week but it is being sold cheap because seller says it has had trouble starting a couple of times and believes starter could be faulty so while im handy with a set of tools i was wondering how hard the starter is to change or is there any how-to's thankyou in advance

I'm not sure whether this falls into 7th gen accord but from what I can remember on 6th gen f18b2 engine it was a bit tight/fiddley but manageable. Sorry I only really know 98-02 accord.

I'm pretty sure that you got the right answer in post #2. It was confusing that your 6th gen is a 2003!
I had a look in Lings, Accord, 2003, and there's a drop-down with three 2.0s, two 2.4s, and an ECONO. By selecting the latter it looks to have a distributor, so not 7th gen, but not listed in the 2002 drop-downs.
