Still have the after market stereo that the car came with. The radio signal isn't coming through. I'm sure it's just a case of getting it out and hooking up the wire.

I'm wondering if i do that will the arial rise from the car every time the stereo is on?

When I had my Supra the arial would rise with the stereo power on regardless to whether the stereo was selected or CD or iPod. Didn't like it so didn't hook it up.

If it is gonna rise... is there any way I can hook it up without it rising?

I have an after market player in my car. The aerial rises when the radio is selected. It only rises with the Cd or Bluetooth when the AF/TA(?/traffic announcement) is switched on.

Normally aftermarket stereo's come with a powered ANT wire that you can hook up if you have a powered antenna. Usually its a seperate wire and not with the iso connection.

The antenna WILL rise but ONLY when you have the radio on. If yoiu have a CD playing it'll stay down.

Remember the first time i put the radio on in my old 6th from a CD and it made that noise. Scared the geez outta me  Had only had the car a few days though.

Ok thats what I'm hoping for. Thanks guys. Now to get it connected

Depends on what head unit you have, mine came with a pioneer and was up as long as there was power to unit, cd or radio, have now put a new pioneer in and still cd, radio, or ipod its up! any clue on how to stop that noise or is it an accord thing?
