Alarm going off

Just went out to the car and pressed the unlock on the keyfob and the alarm went off

I have tried checking all the doors and it will just not stop until I lock the car again and after a couple of cycles it stops.

I have read alot of threads on here about this and the battery in the car is only 3 months old.

If any of the people that were having this issue got to the bottom of it could you tell me what you found to be at fault.

I am about to go out and brave the wail again to disconnect the battery so i can at least go to bed in peace tonight i hope.

Any help greatly apperciated as i can see what tomorrow holds in store for me.

I had this issue recently (post on here somewhere). I had to drive home with the alarm screaming. Disconnected the battery for a bit. Once back on it's not faulted again since (touch wood). Not really a fix, but so long as it doesn't come back I'm happy.

thanks Matt disconnect of the battery and reconnect seems to have sorted it. I did a bit of testing while i was at it and it seems that with the doors unlocked by the fob the internal sensor was still active so i reseated the connector while i was at it.
