Alarm Siren Unit?

Hi all,

Does anyone know where the alarm siren is located on a 2003 Tourer?

The reason being that I've realised that if I set my alarm off, all I get is indicator flashes, but no sound! Not great, and I expect this is due to a faulty siren / battery pack.

Any help is much appreciated,

I'm pretty sure it's in the driver side rear wing - you can access it by removing the panelling inside the boot.

Thanks - that was my suspicion. I'll have a look this evening to make sure its still there! or at least plugged in.

Any other thoughts on reason for it's silence? Dead battery?

I know the device has an internal battery as well as running off the car, but if the alarm itself is working as normal then I would guess it was a loose connection or just that the siren itself is knackered.

This is all just guessing though :unsure:
