Another week, another problem!! lol

Had this happen a couple of weeks ago with the glowplug light flashing and when I plugged in my diagnostic thingy I got fault code P1095- Pumped the filter bulb and went away.

Switched on yesterday and same thing has happened but even after pumping the bulb till its rock hard, staying on altho the car isn't in limp mode....

Had the car for 2 years and no idea when fuel filter was changed - how do I know whether its the fuel filter or a glow plug??? Quite happy to give the fuel filter a go myself after seeing some of the great posts on here...

help!!!

P1095 is the rail pressure control - that is they the fuel pressure along the common rail isn't consistent. Now it could be a few things, but seeing as you pumped the bulb yesterday and it went away it could just be the fuel filter is clogged.

TBH - I'd start with the fuel filter, the diesel is super sensitive to clogged filters, etc and ONLY use a genuine Honda Fuel Filter. They are about £25 - I think.

Thanks Jay- ill give that a go and keep my fingers crossed!! Ive done about 20k in it in 2 years but the filter doesn't look like it was a genuine Honda one so don't think it will hurt to change it- bled it last week at the same time I had pumped the bulb too and yesterday the bulb did feel a bit squishy to begin with

thanks again -ill let you know how I get on..

;)
