Anti roll bar link change.

Just had the car mot done and it failed. Guy said it had broke but reading the report it says only insecure. Is it a straightforward job to replace? More annoyed with the fact that after being diagnosed with a VSA modulator fault and asking the Honda garage where i get its mot done if it would fail because of this, they said no, even the mechanic said no, as it was a switchable driving aid. Its failed on this too now i have only ten days to get the vsa sorted! I wasnt 100% sure they were right at the time to be honest so i guess im to blame too!

PS. As i now need a VSA modulator asap, can anyone remember the name of the companies that repair these parts? I think there is one localish to me up north. I need to get organised now! 10 day retest countdown has begun!

Might be able to help you here.....just had a v.similar problem mine!! Started out with a knocking from the underside of the car which kept triggering the VSA lights to come on and it would only reset when ignition turned off. Decided to change the anti-roll drop links back to genuine parts (broke one last year & fitted aftermarket ones - useless). Blade Honda in Cheltenham found source of problem (they could hear the knocking but couldn't pin-point it until both drop links were removed and the tension was released off the anti roll bar - problem turned out to be the two "D" bushes at a fiver each - car now nice n quiet AND NO problems with the VSA lights!!!! Might be worth a check!

Defo the vsa is broke according to the dealer. And the light doesnt ever go off.
