What's new

Any recommendations on these two.

Personally, I'd go Koni as they're adjustable. Jayok put Bilstein on a while back I think and he said it's a little bouncy on the rear, but I could be mistaken. He'll probably see this thread and make recommendations later.

Plus, Koni are lower baby ;)

 That probably just means I spend way too much time on the forum!

Yeah, that's the modern education system for you, Steve is on here pretty much 24/7 :p

Re the shocks, I put on Bilstein's (B6/B8's) on my tourer the front is the same as the saloon but the rears are different. I stuck a review up here:

However, if I was to do it again, I'd stick B6s on the back. The B8s are a little harsh, but when the boot is loaded, they're perfect.

Oh and the 25-30mm drop is enough (I got 30). Anything beyond that probably doesn't suit the car.

 I almost always have a TA tab open on my browser. I ***ure

My drop's somewhere between 35-40mm. Apex Springs on stock shocks. I imagine the shocks will give way sooner or later. Then I'll upgrade to Koni adjustables. But at the moment, the car looks great and drives very nicely. However I do scrape my mud flaps on speed bumps and occasionally scrape very slightly coming over the top of ramps on multi storey car parks. Although the scraping is my exhaust mounting bracket. It's rather chunky as my exhaust is custom made 2.5" stainless steel. On the stock exhaust this wasn't a problem.

cheers guys think ill go for the koni then.
