Anyone got HDS in Bristol? [ southwest ]

Hi, my oldmans 2007 accord's HFT is in spanish and it's currently locked from what I could tell from using my phone to translate what the HFT was saying, anyway i've tried saying the numbers in spanish but the problem is what she's saying back to confirm doesn't make sense.


anyway saying "English" doesn't work or saying change language in spanish doesn't because it's locked, from what I understand the only way of sorting this joke out is by getting a dealer or someone running HDS to reset the password etc.


Does anyone have access to this around the south west?

Have you had a quote from Honda to reset the system.
My mate has got a top of the range snap on machine but not sure if this will work the same.

Looks like you've accidently locked it with a passcode, if you don't know it. It will mean a dealer visit for a passcode reset, it's a quick procedure.


Usual procedure....
Press HFT button and clearly say 'ENGLISH'>>>
Then after she stops rambling on >>>>
Press HFT button say 'YES'

Try it a few times.... she's hard of hearing lol

If that fails try pressing HFT button and playing this back to her >>>>

OR Grab a random spanish looking passer by and politely ask them LOL

If that's not working then it's likely locked and will indeed require a HDS to sort it out, don't know anyone in/around brizzle who has one.
