Anyone had to replace a clutch slave cylinder

My friends accord diesel had a very light clutch pedal and low on fluid, I traced it down to the slave cylinder leaking behind the boot ever so slightly but explains the light pedal with air getting in.

Has anyone had to change one out of curiosity, and know of any good prices or if honda do a rebuild kit?

Will do a diy if its of any help.

Never had to change one myself. Would be good if you did a diy.

Ive taken mine off to check it when I was bleeding the clutch, dead easy to do and if your not after genuine parts then these seem to be cheapest I can find http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/hydraulic-clutches

I have heard Sal these are very easy to replace.
Not like an old vectra I had the gear box had to come out.

Cool I know its easily replaced but wanted to know if anyone new of Genuine price or a rebuild kit. seems a rare thing to start leaking, being lazy again will ring HH in the morning and post back :lol:
