Where do i get a topup bottle of Honda's ATF Z1 from apart from a Honda dealer?

I found this on the net is this the right stuff?? http://www.youngsboatyard.co.uk/product/331/1237/Honda-ATF-Z1-Oil

The above oil is for marine outboard motors fella!!

On paper they are the same oil spec oil but knowing Honda the marine oils may have additives specifically for those engine which may not be beneficial for a car.

so better stick to car auto ATF-Z1, if you plan to change the auto fluid also change the aft oil filter.

Thanks for that will keep it in mind but still have 4kmls till the next service. Just need to top up at the moment.

So can you get the Z1 oil just from honda or is there any other place?

Agree with Pepster, don't use this oil in your car. I thought it was strange that Honda was selling an auto gearbox oil for outboards (they have a different gearbox design than a car), but this isn't actually for outboard gearboxs. Its for the tilt and trim system, a hydraulic system that adjusts the trim angle of the engine. As pepster said, marine gearbox oils usually have different additivies anyway, for example they have one that changes the colour of the oil should any moisture be present in the gearbox.

Cheers thats all i needed to know. Didnt wonna skimp on it just wanted to know if there where any other places than Honda dealers to get the oil from.
