autobox

Hi Guys,
After getting some crazy prices to replace my tiptronic auto box here in Holland I,ve decided that if I want to keep my car I HAVE to change to a 5 sp. manual...anyone have the type code for the 2001 1.8/20 ltr. manual box & any one help with flywheel, clutch, pedal box, master cylinders etc. to help with my conversion.

i would of thought it would be easier to just buy a car with a manual box. I think it's more hassle than its worth.

I know what your saying...but I,ve spent a lot off cash on this car & I would only get 50 euro,s for the papers here in Holland if I scrap the car...so I don,t have a lot off options..the main gearbox specialists here in Holland will not touch the tiptronic autobox...or want to charge you a fortune.
