Aux Belt

Every now and again normally when its damp or raining the aux belt squeels. I spray a bit of WD40 on and it disapears.

Is it just the belt that needs to be replaced or puelleys aswell?

Honda have quoted £98 for one fitted 2.4 I dont want to do it myself

Hopefully its just the belt that needs replacing but hard to say until its done.
That does seem a bit pricey to change it cant you but the belt from HH and do it yourself or get an independent to do the work.

I'm gonna ask one of the mechanics at work to see if they can do it, hopefully a few beers :lol:

What ould happen if an aux belt snapped?

You would lose your power steering, air con, and the alternator would stop charging the battery.
Mine was on and off last week and I didn't get charged a thing

Not unless you don't realise how heavy the steering is about to get as the corner ahead is fast approaching :lol:
