hey all

I just come from Kwik Fit and had their Free Checks Done on my beloved Accord and they said that my battery is dying (It has been Bad at Starting Recently) it was at 21% starting capacity

and they wanted to charge £90+ for new battery, and halfords it was £120+ for one

My Query to you is what type of battery do i need i have looked into this and i am confused is it supposed to be 024 battery or 067 battery or 063 or 027 or 075 or 014

Im SO CONFUSED :huh: :unsure: :huh:

Please Help

Does It Matter or Is it The Amp / hr and Cold Start Performance the ones to be looking at?
 
Cold cranking is important - ge3rnally the more amps the better. Give HH a ring and see what they can do - bet they can beat KwikSh1t.

You want to get the highest output battery that will fit in the slot.

Honda do the battery fitted for £85 through Honda Happiness, or you can buy it direct from them for about £70 and fit it yourself which is where I got my last one from. Refused to pay the Halfords price!!

I reckon a quick call to Holdcroft will be able to sort you out dude.

Andy mate I don't beleive that quoted price on those. Simply becuase i went in to ask about a clutch for my ATR and got told it was nearer a grand. Not what they quote on the happiness scheme.
 
What is The Honda OEM Battery Amp/hr and CCA ? any1 know by any chance?

All Sorted bought a 075 battery which is 64Ah and 590 CCA
