Battery Light is On??

Hi
The battery light on the dash has just come on.
Have checked the battery voltage and it is OK
Have also checked the charging and that is OK
Car starts OK

Anyone got any idea as to what the problem could be?

Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely a faulty alternator if the light is on while engine running.

The Alternator is still chucking out the correct voltage so will it still be an alternator problem?

It should be showing 14v when the engine is running mate. There isn’t really a complicated circuit for the battery light, it’s either the battery or alternator normally.
