Bearing/Gearbox noise

First I thought it was just a wheel bearing. Now I'm not so sure. Has anyone had problems with driveshaft/gearbox bearings? The car is nearly at 100k miles and has worked pretty hard so far...

Drive shaft problems are common,some times the 3rd gear syncro can fail,mine did

The gearbox feels really nice to use and the car is driving really well. Just got constant bearing type noise when doing between 40-60 mph.

If you coast in neutral and the noise remains, that would suggest that it isn't the gearbox

Could be tyre noise. How are the tyres wearing?

It was doing it with normal tyres and I've now changed to winter ones. The winter ones are way louder but that's normal Landover style tyre hum.

If your car is an 8 th gen CU2 as on your profile this is a common noise on almost every manual.
Change the gearbox oil as this helps.

The car makes a metallic scraping sound when turning left at low speeds so I'm thinking it might be O/S/F wheel bearing. Taking it to Honda this week to get a diagnosis so will update this post as soon as I know more.
