Bonnet trim

The silver trim on the bonnet of my '04 diesel is starting to come off. Can anyone recommend what type of adhesive I need to stick it back on? It's only coming loose on one side. Should I take the whole thing off and before applying adhesive or just stick the part that's come loose? Thanks.

I would take the whole thing off and give both surfaces a good clean, then when sticking things to the outside of a car permantly I always use Evostik contact adhesive.

This bolts onto the bonnet you should see 4 plastic coated nuts under the bonnet they may just need tightening

I hadn't even noticed that lol
