I'm shopping online for replacement discs. I found this link in another thread. Are the rear discs for the '04 Touring different to the saloon? It appears from the EBC site the front discs are the same for the saloon and tourer but differ for the rear.

Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

K.

Found the answer to my own question.

Front discs on both Saloon and Touring are 300mm

Rear disc on Saloon is 260mm, rear disc on Touring is 282mm

yh the rears on the touring are a bit bigger because they can support more weight and i think they also have thicker rear ARB's to

Correct. 300mm front and 260mm rear for the saloon. Rears for the touring are 280mm or 282mm I think.

The Tourer rear discs have a drum handbrake mechanism inside them, so are very different to the Saloon, also the pads although very similar, are different too. the Saloon pads have a pin on them to engage in the piston, if you try to force these into the Tourer you will have problems. Either make sure you have the right pads or file the pin off. I have changed all my discs and pads (Tourer) to EBC and find them perfectly good, no noticable difference from standard, apart from the price!! I got mine from brakes4u and got good service, price and exactly the right parts turned up.

Sorry forgot to add, yes the fronts are the same on the Saloon and Tourer, certanly for the diesel anyway.

got some disks for the Mrs's Accrod from here http://www.brakesint.co.uk/

After searching online, I think I got a very good deal on my front and rear discs and pads from my local motor factors. €173 (£150.45). Not official Honda gear obviously.
