Had my calipers cleaned, disc and pads replaced by the dealer last week under honda happiness as the calipers had seized. Brakes seized on the motorway again on sunday. Cooked a wheel and a tyre.

Back into dealers today, appears i have an intermittent issue with a caliper, rods are pitted, seals are gone. Usually about a £400 quid job, but apparently honda has quite a few of these in stock at the moment and they are selling them at a discount to dealers. So new caliper supplied and fitted with a new pad (with some discount for my inconvenience) £170, cost me nearly £400 the last time, so well happy.

Result. Might be worth getting on to your local dealer and picking up some cheap caliper service if your needing them. Going cheap at the moment.

Thanks very much Chris for the info ;) Sure somebody will benefit from it :)

I should probably add that they are replacing the brake pad for free and are not charging me labor as it's been in before for this an was not spotted.

That's a bargain Chris thanks for the heads up :)
