Hi guys, can someone shed any light on this?

my MOT is due end of month and I want to check my pad/discs.
Looking at the WSM it mentions the specs for min thickness for the brake disc

Brake disc thickness: Standard: Except KQ model: 24.9-25.1 mm (0.98-0.99 in.) KQ model: 27.9-28.1 mm (1.10-1.11 in.)

Question is; I have a CN1, so what do I have? a KQ or non KQ model?
Cheers

From what I know, the codes are as follows:

KH refers to USA Accords, KG, KE, KZ, KS are European Accords. KQ is Australian.

Correct me if I'm wrong!

gav correct me if im wrong but they don't check the condition of brakes for an mot.
if it passes on the skid floor then thats it

many thanks guys, so I now know I have a non KQ model

Going to tackle the brakes tomorrow...

I have been driving The 8th gen saloon (Diesel auto) for the last two days it a FANTASTIC CAR .. the gearbox and it matching to the diesel engine is something else.. don't worry petrol heads I wont buy one..I strongly suggest people to try the auto diesel box it superb the performance is way better than the manual. :D

Wow. Praise for a diesel from CJ :)

just seen my ***le for this topic. What a t1t
Can an admin change please? I do know how to spell brake....lol

Sounds impressive mate. What's the difference in mpg over a manual?

That seems pretty reasonable then especially driving the way you were. I would love a Type S in White. Dream next car...

I didn't realise the Type S didn't come in auto. Might change my mind instead...Once I've saved up that is!

It'll be a few years before I can afford one so it'll be interesting to see if there are any reported/common issues in that time.
