The power steering pump on my Accord is noisy , mine is a 2006 cdti , the prices compared with the petrol is ridiculous , a brand new petrol one £50 , mine from Halfords is £600 , reconditioned £174does anyone know of anywhere i may be able to get it cheaper , I think Halfords are related to **** Turpin , the problem is i haven't seen or driven my car for 2 years , its done 300 miles in 2years , i am having to sell it , its such a good car i don't want it to get damaged .

Have you tried to replace the O-Ring first ?

No we haven't like i say i haven't seen my car for nearly 2 years due to ill health and am still housebound , the steering pump is noisy not leaking , i was hoping someone could tell me where to get a recon or new cheaper than the prices i have been quoted .

The only option that'll be cheaper than reconditioned is used and the best place for that is flea bay.
