Hi,
guys i dont know how to describe it but my car handling and drive is like very wobbly like it floats i recently had an MOT where one of the brushes was changed and was told they swapped the back tyres for the fronts...the garage man told me i need to change all tyres since the handling is bad ..i notced the back tyre pressure was higher han the front 37psi for the back and 32psi for the front ...
can you guys advice me how to sort out the handling its terrible i feel like i am driving a boat LOL

Hi.
Sounds like new tyres are needed.

Id put 37psi in the front and lower inthe back, that should help in the meantime.
:)

37psi is a little high for the 2 litre - I'd run around 32 psi all round.

Yeah 37 psi is too much on the front, if the wear on the front tyres is off, it can have a dramatic effect on how the Accord handles, get a wheel balance and alignment done first and see how she goes from there, then if you still have issues then it could mean new tyres, and worse case secnario, a possible drivshaft/cv joint needs doing

My Tourer handled really badly when I bought it. The Accord is generally really sensitive when the tyres are not perfect.

I would even out the pressures, get an alignment done and if that doesn't help then put some new boots on it. I swapped the ***** tyres I had for Falkens and it made a huge difference to ride quality, handling and noise.

as well as getting the pressures right, you might want to check that they swapped the tyresa round correctly - are they still pointing the right way (most tyres have an arrow on them idicating direction of rotation).

Whenever I've had new front tyres (or swapped the backs to the front) my Accord Tourer steering and handling has always felt bad for a few hundred miles.

I run 35PSI all round... if I go lower the outermost sides of the tread wears more than the central tread area.

i dont think some people have a clue what a psi is

i check the oil pressure each few weeks to be on the safe side, i see crazy pressure on the tyre pressure machine in sainsburys, like 39 or 40psi on hatchbacks...

1 bar = 14.5 psi

:D
