As above. Car briefly fires up and then dies. Needs a few attempts then starts. Sometimes starts without trouble but mostly misbehaves. Once up and running it runs fine.
If the car starts then dies would doubt that it has anything to do with the leads dizzy. My money would be on an ignition barrel failure. They're a common problem, but off the top of my head i can't remember how much it was to replace. I know it's not silly money though.
