Do people reach their rev limiter that often? I feel racy hitting the readline :lol:

I agree, but it depends what you mean by low revs? Is it 1100 or 1800? Because as we all know that rev limit for diesels is lower then for petrols.

Well when it's cold I tend to accelerate gently and change at around 2k. Once warm depends on traffic and the situation, usually change a bit lower (1500-1800) but floor it if I need to.

I think the most I have ever done is touch the red line, where is the limiter set?

heh I didn't mean to touching red line but I just want to say that 2k for diesel it's not the same like for petrols B) these are two different engines and both work in other areas of revs..
