Yes definitely, I changed bulb a few months ago 
Yup, mine was broken (probably a chain smoker judging by the state of it!). I just prised the centre console appart and pulled it out. I got a new aftermarket amber replacement off eBay that came with the lighter and the bulb housing all pre installed. Was fairly easy to fit but I had to sand down around the hole to fit it since this was a tad larger.
If you chose to replace the whole thing like I did, you may need to get the soldering iron or ideally, crimp the circuit to light the bulb. Or atleast what I did when reconnecting the lighter socket plug, stuff the loose wire on the 12v rail to power the bulb. Not ideal but it works for me and is held in snug.
