Cigarette lighter socket/plug

Hi

I have lost power to my cigarette lighter socket. I have checked all of the fuses under the bonnet, and they are all fine. I cannot locate (if there is any) a fuse for the socket itself. My ash tray was overfilled with lose change and as i pulled out my sat nav charger 2 5p's dropped into the socket and there was a spark, i fished out the coins and re inserted my sat nav plug and nothing :\

Have you checked the fuses in the cabin?

Yep fuses in the cabin drivers side right hand side if a 7 gen

Happened to me on my Accord when I first got it, a bit of a phone charger plug broke off into the socket and blew the fuse. The fuse is in the drivers side kickpanel adjacent to the bonnet release handle.

The fuse number is 23 on the 8 gen so it might be the same for yours.

Hi, sorry for late reply, it was number 9 on the fuse box just above the bonnet release, 20 amp mini fuse
